How to delete your data
INTIMO is local-first: most of your content lives only on your device, and anything you share with a partner is end-to-end encrypted. Deleting your data therefore has two parts.
1. Delete your on-device data
In the app, open Settings and tap Reset All Data, then confirm. This permanently deletes all of your local data — activities, reflections, wishes, preferences, encryption keys, and pairing information — from your device. This cannot be undone.
2. Delete your server-side data
INTIMO stores very little on its servers: your device registration and push-notification preferences. To remove it:
- Find your User ID: in the app, open Settings → About Intimo; your User ID is shown there.
- Request deletion: email your User ID to intimo.support@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data”. We process requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- On your device (via Reset All Data): activities, reflections, wishes, planner data, cycle entries, preferences, encryption keys, and pairing information.
- On our servers (via your request): device registration and push-notification preferences.
What may be retained
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot identify you.
- Minimal records we are required to keep by law.
Important
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Content you previously shared with a partner is also stored on your partner’s device under their own account, and is governed by their choices.
